Horse Cave Trio
Horse Cave Trio
The roots of the Horse Cave Trio run deep. From the bluegrass of Kentucky, to the mean streets of Detroit. From the rockin' SUN sounds of Memphis to the raw blues of Chicago. The Horse Cave Trio combine a lot of influences to create an exciting sound that is totally original and yet very familiar. The Horse Cave Trio formed late in 2002. Ron DeVore had achieved success on the West Coast, Europe and Australia with his hard rockin' band, EMPTY SET. DeVore, a true rockabilly devotee, was looking to form a straight-ahead high-energy rock 'n roll trio that would perform and record original roots rock. Ron found the perfect partner in guitarist Lou Simon, a veteran of the Detroit music scene who has recorded and performed with several well-known acts. Rounding out the Trio is brother-in-arms Tony Bizon on the thundering drums.

The Horse Cave Trio were named for the small town in Kentucky where DeVore's parents are from. The group released it's first full-length CD, "HOT RODS, CHOPPERS & ROCK'N'ROLL" on the Austin Texas indie Tropic Lightning in 2004. The follow-up to this successful debut was the March 2006 release of "CURB SERVICE" on the Embassy Hotel Record label.

The band latest release "Hart Country" was released on Funky D Records this past fall to strong review.

The Hex Bombs - We ARE Rock and Roll

The Hex Bombs sound is a unique brand of proletariat punk with a classic punk rock-revival attitude. Never tiring of powerful hooks and anthemic sing-along choruses, these raucous gents sing about the reality of life from the perspective of hard working folks. The songs are progressive and honest with the intensity of a maelstrom. Formed in 2006, the band is known for their high energy live shows and crowd participation.
The band currently has two well-received albums under it’s belt, We Are Rock ‘n’ Roll and Get Back to Work, with a third album, United, in the early recording stages. Influences evident in their songwriting include The Ramones, Dropkick Murphys, Against me!,Bouncing Souls, Social Distortion, Hot Water Music, The Misfits, and The Street Dogs.
The Hex Bombs have shared the stage with such noted international acts as The Misfits, The Adicts, Agent Orange, Juicehead, The Tossers, Electric Six, Koffin Kats, Mustard Plug, Continental, and Deals Gone Bad. Touring the east coast and midwest to receptive audiences, this five piece midwest-based band continues to push forward and look for new opportunities and challenges.
