Bleed For The Fallen
Bleed For The Fallen
.Although a new band, Bleed for the Fallen (BFTF) has been molded over nearly a decade of hard work, struggle, and perseverance. Comprised of members who all came from different musical backgrounds and tastes. They bring rock, punk, blues, and above all else metal to form the trademark sound that makes them more than just a metal band. They are a land surveyor, a welder, and a pair of carpenters. They are the blue collar, members of the working class of this country. They play for the love of playing and the love of their fans. They play for the people who fight to protect us, and those who need protecting. They play for the people who have been knocked down, ran through, and somehow found a way to stand back up again...for the fallen...they bleed.

Melodic and classically inspired guitar riffs, pile driving speed drums, and raspy lead vocals create an intense overall sound that executes with a high energy performance that is not only heard on their recordings, but as well as on stage with much fan interaction.

Combining elements of melodic Death Metal, and their own unique style, LOR was originally created with a group of peers as a means to escape the tedious monotony of engineering school. At the start of 2009 the band entered the studio to record their first album, Burial Content, which was released later that same year.

In 2010, the band gained a new vocalist followed by new management in 2011. That same year, Legions of Raum entered Joy Ride Studios, and collaborated with Grammy nominee Nick Ledesma who produced, engineered, and mastered their second album.

Early 2012, a beast was born. “The Great Beast Evolved” to be exact.
That album quickly caught the attention of 105.5 WYKT’s Tim Lamping, and the band was featured in an interview on his show: Homegrown Tones.
In addition, LOR landed interviews and airtime with several stations, written reviews, and gaining an endorsement from Titan Cabs.
In December, the band announced they were being distributed by Dark Harvest Records and their music would be included in the horror film, The Leaf Blower Massacre.

The band has been hard at work performing in and around Chicago from both albums, while currently adding new material to be released in 2013. LOR has opened for national acts Dirge Within (US), Slaves on Dope based out of Montreal, and won week 4 of Quest Broadcasting’s “The Effn Rock Series II” advancing them on to the semi-finals. The band also went on to win the Asgard Radio Rock Wars knocking out an 11 time former champion out of their spot.
The Great Beast Evolved is currently available through Asgardradio.com(US), Metal Experience (US), Sonic Asylum Radio (US), 105.5 WYKT(US), Airadionet-Quest Broadcasting (US), Slam-Internet Radio(US), Metal-Only e.V.(DE), The Autopsy Report Metal Radio Show(UK), Rocking Satellite(Greece), and distributed through: Dark Harvest Records, iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby.
Atlanta Is Burning
Atlanta Is Burning
Atlanta is Burning is a Metalcore band from Lombard, Illinois. The band was formed in 2010 with drummer Keith Humphrey, bassist Carlene Bruno, and lead guitarist Al Kruse. In 2011 the band added vocalist James Costa and rhythm guitarist Andy Kent.
.
The band took its name from the scene in ‘Gone with the Wind’ in which the lead character Scarlett O’Hara, played by Vivien Leigh, rushes to escape the flames that engulf Atlanta, Georgia during the American Civil War. This escape scene stands out as one of the most famous parts in the film, which helped to ignite Vivien Leigh’s acting career. The film also made Vivien an American icon, but it allowed for her to become type casted with an image she would grow to despise.

Vivien's life is the subject in many of Atlanta is Burning's songs. The band’s first released song, ‘A wicked Thing to Say’ was written about Vivien’s ensuing hatred for Hollywood. Through heavy guitars, hard hitting drums, and growling vocals, the band revives Vivien’s frustration with the film, the fame, and the critics of her time.
